First Day of Kindergarten

Well, it's official. Jaelynn has started kindergarten.
Tuesday we woke up promptly at 6:30am.  We came downstairs where Jaelynn chose her breakfast of choice-Lucky Charms.

As she was eating, Papa showed up with McDonalds pancakes to surprise her!  After eating breakfast, she went upstairs to get dressed, brush her teeth, and hair.  She asked me to curl her hair, so of course I did.

Then it was time to head to the bus stop! She put on her ICarly backpack..and headed out!

When the bus got there, Jaelynn said "Bye mom!" without any hesitation. She jumped on the bus, no hugs, no kisses-just a confident "bye!".

She, of course, had a great day.  Came home ready to go back for her second day! I'm so proud of my little kindergartner!
