(extra)Ordinary Day

Today was just an ordinary day.  We didn't go anywhere, didn't do anything at home, and didn't do anything exciting; but it was the first relaxing day all 4 of us have had together in about 5 days.
Jaelynn got home from my moms and we all just sat around doing nothing.  Yes, there is plenty that needs to be done around here, but we all just wanted to hang out together. After we reheated some pasta from last night, Jaelynn and I played Dance Central on the kinect. (I want to do the 30 Day Shred every other day, so tonight I danced for my excercise). We played for about 30 minutes, while Axton played on the floor-practically laughing at us.
Afterwards everyone was kind of doing their own thing.  It's the days like this that make me so excited for Axton to have Jaelynn as a sister.  I love that even though he's still a baby, and can't necessarily play back, she tries her hardest to play with him.  She loves him so much and will do anything she can do to make him smile.

When I see these two together it melts my heart.  I truly cannot wait until they are running around driving me crazy.
Axton has learned two new things:
1) How to eat his toes.
2) How to stop eating his toes when he sees Mom with the camera.

Yep, that's right- he's already protesting his picture being taken doing anything cute. lol. This is the closest I got of him eating his toes before he saw the camera and would stop:
And just because I love how beautiful my little girl is, here's a bonus:

So, while today wasn't anything but an ordinary day, it's the simple memories of our everyday life that make our lives extraordinary.
