Axton turned 4 months old on Thursday the 11th. I can't believe how quickly time is going by. I swear, it was just last week he was this helpless little thing, and now he is ready to get up and go!
He had his 4 month well visit on Friday. He is up to 15lbs 6oz (50-75%), 25in (50%), and has a 42cm head (50%). That's 3.5 lbs he's gained in 2 months! The doctor couldn't get over how strong he is, and said he has the strength of a 6month old! I told her all he wants to do is stand, and she said she wouldn't be surprised if he was crawling at his 6month appointment. She said he's ready to start eating food, and by 6 months would like him to be eating baby food for 2-3 meals a day. Then came the fun part-the shots. By the end of his appointment he was tired because he'd already been up for about 2 hours. As soon as the first shot went in he screamed bloody murder, and she quickly finished the second one. I picked him up as soon as she was done, and he calmed down right away.
