I can't keep up with this anymore! There is so much going on with the kids and life right now, it's hard for me to report here.
Let's recap really quick:
November was a little rough. Mike started his new job, so it took some adjusting for all of us with him working nights. Thanksgiving was fun. We ate ate Roy and Steph's house per usual and had a blast. Afterwards I met Misty and Wendy and went Black Friday shopping. Got a TON of stuff, and had a BLAST!
December:
First order of business was Jaelynn's birthday. My baby girl is 6! Crazy right?! We had her party at the ice skating rink. This was her first time ice skating and she did awseome! After going around a bit with help, she went out on her own and was on a roll. She got tons of awesome presents, and had a blast hanging out with friends and family.
Next, of course, was Christmas! We all know how busy Christmas time is for us. We did the usual visiting all the family and enjoyed a little time at home. Axton wasn't really interested in opening gifts yet, but had fun with the paper once it was off the present! Both kids got spoiled and have been playing with all their presents nonstop.
For New Years we hung out at home for the first time ever. Tiffanie and Chris came over and enjoyed some food, laughs, and the kinect with us. We played Dance Central 2 and watched the ball drop at midnight.
Other than that, life has just been moving on as usual. Axton has two teeth on the bottom, he's crawling like a champ, pulling up on everything, cruising furniture, he lets go and will stand alone for a few before he falls, he LOVES crawling up the steps, and climbs on ANYTHING that is off the ground. He is HILARIOUS and adorable. He's starting to babble more and more, just figured out how to wave and is starting to clap a little!
Jaelynn is doing awesome in school. Getting smarter everyday, and doing a really good job learning how to read/write. She is such a good big sister. Always playing with Axton, helping out in anyway she can. She's doing really well in gymnastics. She's learned how to kick over from her bridge, and they are talking about moving her up to intermediate girls.
Mike is loving his job still. He is supposed to start going to school this month to start getting HVAC certified. I couldn't be prouder of him!
And as for me, not much new. Taking care of the family, hanging out, and loving life!
